Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Information entered in a search box is transmitted directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its result. Lawrence County Warrant Records does not keep or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send us an email, we keep that message so we can reply. Your message stays within our team. We will not share it with anyone outside our organization unless a legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive limited technical information whenever a visitor loads a page:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies on this site. These are small files stored on your device that let us see how visitors use the site - which pages get the most traffic and where people tend to drop off. Analytics services help us aggregate that traffic data. Your browser settings let you block cookies whenever you want. Some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Warrant Data on File
Lawrence County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant information. It identifies official routes such as Sheriff Communications, the Lawrence County Circuit Clerk, and municipal courts. Alabama has no verified public statewide warrant-only database. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the site's search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing rules apply to information submitted through those tools. Review the named provider's terms before entering a query because this policy does not control its systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, Alabama court services, municipal courts, legal-aid resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows such a link, the destination's privacy policy governs. Check it before disclosing personal information.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to these recipients:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, customary safeguards protect collected data. No internet service can promise absolute security, however, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Notice that a minor submitted information will be reviewed so the data can be removed promptly.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Alabama privacy and consumer-protection law may provide rights concerning personal data. Alabama public-records law, Ala. Code ยง 36-12-40, concerns access to public writings and does not turn this private site into a government records custodian. At a minimum, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A revised version will appear here with its new effective date, so visitors should review it periodically.
